How much does the training cost?
ONE PRICE FOR ALL TRAININGS
The prices for all the courses offered here are 850€ NET per participant. This price is lower than the prices of most of other German providers for works council trainings.
How long are the trainings?
DURATION AND TIMEFRAME
The training courses take place over three days. We have received feedback that this is the perfect length of time. The courses start at 9 am. they end at 4 pm. We schedule in enough breaks to recover from screen time too.
How does the training work?
WE TEACH ONLINE WITH ZOOM
You take part online, you can attend from the premises of your establishment or from home or from anywhere you like.
We usually use Zoom for our sessions.
How many people attend each course?
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
There is a maximum of 20 participants and minimum of 6 participants per training. You only have one or two colleagues interested? No problem! We'll find a date and course that suits both you and us.
WORKS CONSTITUTION 2
Learn about your co-determination rights in the “big five” of the Works Constitution Act: working time, remuneration, protection from monitoring, health and safety, and holidays. Find out about your rights when the employer hires, transfers or fires your colleagues. After this course you will be ready to claim your rights and start negotiations with your employer about works agreements.
WORKS CONSTITUTION 3
Learn about the rights of the works council with regard to the financial aspects of the establishment. Find out how a social compensation plan works. Learn about personnel planning, details with regard to ideological establishments (Tendenzbetriebe), and the transfer of the establishment to a different legal entity with the rights of employees in this case.
LABOR LAW 1
Learn the basics and a bit beyond about the employment contract, the rights and duties of an employee, including how civil rights affect your rights as an employee. Find out about how employment contracts are agreed upon, what the core duties of the employer are and what limits they face when issuing directions.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Workloads are increasing, and the pandemic caught us unprepared: Get to know how the works council can help to protect the health of employees. Find out how to negotiate a works agreements on how health assessments are performed and the protection of employees against identified hazards in the workplace.
